The Jewish state [Hebrew] or The Jewish Province [Aramaic]; sometimes Pachavot Yehuda - פחוות יהודה, The Provinces of Judah Ezra and Nehemiah. Zerubbabel led the first band of Israelite exiles, numbering 42,360, to Yehud. Ezra led another 5,000 returnees to Jerusalem in 459 BCE, and Nehemiah arrived in Jerusalem in the 20th year of Artaxerxes I (ie. 445/444 BCE). Nehemiah probably remained governor till his death in c 413 BCE.
