has gloss	eng: Schule Birklehof is a prestigious independent boarding school located in Hinterzarten in the High Black Forest region of Southwest Germany, appromximately 25km from Freiburg. It is a fee-paying coeducational grammar school (German: Gymnasium), currently comprising the Years 5 to 13. Currently, the school has approximately 220 students, 150 of which are boarders who live on campus. Round Square schools were created by educator Kurt Hahn, who felt that physical and mental development were equally important.
