has gloss | eng: According to the Law no. 10, 2009, issued in February 25, 2009, the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) was established and became operationally effective as from July 1, 2009. The new EFSA replaced three major Authorities, viz. the Capital Market Authority (CMA), the Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority (EISA), and the Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA). Merging those Authorities under a unified umbrella aims at fostering the Egypt's financial sector. |
